GTA VI Release Date Confirmed: Everything We Know So Far

Rockstar Games has officially confirmed the release window for Grand Theft Auto VI, and the gaming world is buzzing. Here's a complete breakdown of all confirmed details, leaked gameplay, and what to expect.

After years of speculation, Rockstar Games has finally confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will launch in the holiday season of 2026. The announcement came via a surprise social media post accompanied by a new trailer that sent the internet into a frenzy.

The game returns to Vice City — now a sprawling, sun-drenched metropolis that feels more alive than any open world before it. The trailer confirmed a dual-protagonist system featuring Lucia, the series' first playable female lead, alongside her partner Jason.

The map appears to be the largest in GTA history, encompassing not just Vice City but surrounding areas including swamps, small towns, and a second major city. Online mode will launch alongside the single-player campaign, a first for the franchise.

Pre-orders are already breaking records across all platforms, and analysts predict it will become the best-selling entertainment product of all time within its first week.
